So far in September, the stage is in doubt. There were several pre crews willing to travel but to this day none of them confirmed the departure

And the last day has come. Unfortunately, we need to go back. We still have to drive over 1600 miles.
As before, we all enjoyed the trip. Two groups have already confirmed the return to Transylvania next year.

Today, we leave the forests and mountain trails. By the end of an event, we still have Transfagarasan Highway to overcome and two Vlad Palownik's (known as Dracula) castles to watch

Weather do not disappoint. The sun shines, it is very hot. Sometimes it is tiring because we drive mountains and have no place to hide from the heat. Transylvania route changes from day to day.
We can notice developing processes of our work in comparison to our last trip. Next year, may be the last year of having a chance to see DN67C in his natural form.

Sorry for the delay with information from the trip. Because of the beautiful weather (temperature about 24 degrees) we try to visit the place, where we can taste the bath in the beautiful lakes.

The next edition of Transylvania expedition has just begun. Number of crews turned up.
We start in two groups of six cars. After breakfast, we have final degree check and emphasize on health and safety rules. At present, the weather is nice and promises to be (all because of the trip, of course)

Due to a great interest in our Transylvania Trips, we have decided to organise one more event in 2010, which will be held on 10-19 September. Hopefully the weather is nice and sunny, so we would be able to admire the beauty of Carpathian Mountains in autumn. If it rains, we will have great fun with a slight extreme touch to it. Do not forget your MT Tires and your brains which will help to drive through the entire route.

Unfortunately the August event has been fully booked so the lists are closed now.

From 16th till 18th July 2010 in Northampton there will be one of the biggest LAND ROVER show. We are going to be there as well. You will find us next to LR Disco 300TDI with some writing on it LONDON - TRANSYLVANIA, as well as there will be a huge, 10 meters vertical HF antenna.

There will be some stories and photos from our first expedition. All people interested in next editions please do find us and ask for more information.

Day 6 began with one of our tents being torn into pieces by gale force. The weather doesn't make it easier for us you know! And guess what - it is still raining! After 41 miles the decision was made to swap the routes. So we went onto 7C Transfagarasan Highway - the second most incredible road when thinking of views... Hundreds of turnings, steep sides and absolute beauty of the landscape! Additionally the temperature dropped to 2 degrees of Centigrade. You have to be there for yourself to see and feel it all!
We hope the August expedition will get a bit better weather, so fingers crossed! Tomorrow it's the end... and we're getting back to UK.
